AC § 19-557

a. For purposes of this section, the term “cyclist awareness decal” means a sign that warns passengers to look for cyclists before opening the door. b. Every owner of a taxicab or for-hire vehicle shall prominently display cyclist awareness decals on the inside of the rear passenger doors. c. Such cyclist awareness decals shall be provided by the commission at no cost to the driver or owner of the vehicle. d. The commission shall promulgate rules establishing the penalty for violation of subdivision b of this section. (L.L. 2025/078, 5/31/2025, eff. 9/28/2025)
