924.1 General.

MC § 924.1

Stationary fuel cell power plants having a power output not exceeding 10 MW, shall be tested in accordance with ANSI/CSA America FC1 and shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and NFPA 853. Such fuel cell plants shall be powered by hydrogen derived on-site from piped natural gas, except where the storage, handling and use of hydrogen or other flammable gas is authorized by the New York City Fire Code for such purposes and approved by the fire commissioner.
