MC § 917.6

Commercial cooking appliances, other than those exempted by Section 501.8 of the New York City Fuel Gas Code, shall be vented by connecting the appliance to a vent or chimney in accordance with this code and the appliance manufacturer's instructions or the appliance shall be vented in accordance with Section 505.1.1 of the New York City Fuel Gas Code.
