MC § 502.15

Where Class I liquids or LP-gas are stored or used within a building having a basement or pit wherein flammable vapors could accumulate, the basement or pit shall be provided with ventilation at a minimum rate of 1.5 cubic feet per minute per square foot (cfm/ft2) (0.008 m 3 /(s • m 2 )) designed to prevent the accumulation of flammable vapors therein.
