MC § 1305.9.5

Oil lines for equipment or tanks shall be steel pipe ASTM A 53 / A 53M or ASTM A 106, grade B seamless Schedule 40 with welded connections up to the oil tank or equipment, except that fittings at the tank or equipment, shut-off valves and other fuel-oil flow and control devices may be screwed or flanged. Exception: Flexible fuel-oil piping systems with continuous vacuum leak detection in accordance with Section 1302.9.
