1305.3.7 Return piping.

MC § 1305.3.7

In direct feed systems, the minimum size of a return line shall be no less than the size of the supply piping specified in Section 1305.3.1. Valves shall not be installed on return piping unless a means of relieving overpressure is provided. Return piping serving equipment at levels above the lowest floor in buildings shall also comply with the requirements of Section 1305.9.
