1305.3.2 Connections to tank.

MC § 1305.3.2

Supply piping shall connect to the top of the fuel-oil tank. Exception: Storage tanks in buildings that comply with all of the following conditions: 1. The tank is located above ground on the lowest floor; 2. The tank does not exceed 330 gallons (1249.2 L); and 3. The tank is provided with a 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) opening for gravity discharge in the bottom of the tank.
