§ 68-01 Scope of this Chapter.
RCNY § 68-01
(a)To establish procedures for the enforcement of violations of TLC Rules and other laws enforced by the TLC, including the Administrative Code of the City of New York.
(b)To establish: 1. the requirements for imposing the immediate summary suspension of a License, 2. procedures and protections for Licensees whose Licenses have been revoked, 3. procedures and protections related to the seizure and forfeiture of unlicensed vehicles, and 4. the requirements for the settling and withdrawal of violations.
(c)These rules are to be read in conjunction with the rules and procedures established by the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, as described in 48 RCNY Chapter 5.
