§ 27-640 Fittings for wire cable suspenders.

AC § 27-640

Fittings for wire cable suspenders shall be capable of developing the specified minimum ultimate strength of the attached cable or strand without developing stresses in the fitting equal to, or in excess of, the yield strength of the material in the fitting. One end fitting, of each type and size to be used, shall be tested to insure the adequacy of the fitting to develop the ultimate strength of the cable or strand to which it is to be attached.
