§ 19-138 Injury to or defacement of streets.

AC § 19-138

a. Breaking or injuring. It shall be unlawful for any person to break or otherwise injure any street. There shall be no penalty for a violation of this section in case of an accidental breaking of or injury to a street which is repaired to the satisfaction of the commissioner, within forty-eight hours after such break or injury. b. Defacing. Except as otherwise provided by law, it shall be unlawful for any person to deface any street by painting, printing or writing thereon, or attaching thereto, in any manner, any advertisement or other printed matter.
