§ 18-154 Bathing season for beaches and pools.

AC § 18-154

a. The commissioner shall ensure that (i) the bathing season of each year for beaches and pools under the jurisdiction of the department ends on the Sunday following Labor Day and (ii) during such season, each such bathing beach and pool remains open to the public each day, at a minimum, from the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. b. Notwithstanding subdivision a of this section, the commissioner may limit the bathing season for extreme weather conditions, staffing level requirements for beaches or particular facilities, and the safety of the public.
