§ 17-343 Acquisition of a dangerous dog prohibited.
AC § 17-343
a. No person shall own or harbor any dog for the purpose of dog fighting, or train, torment, badger, bait or use any dog for the purpose of causing or encouraging said dog to attack human beings or domestic animals when not provoked. b. No person shall sell, offer for sale, breed, buy or attempt to buy any dangerous dog within the city of New York.
