§ 25-52 Off-site Spaces for Residences

In the districts indicated, all permitted or required off-street parking spaces accessory to residences may be provided on a zoning lot other than the same zoning lot as the residences to which such spaces are accessory, provided that in such instances all such spaces are:

located in a district other than a Residence District or a C7 District, or provided in a joint facility located in a district other than an R1 or R2 District, on the same zoning lot as one of the buildings to which it is accessory, and conforming to the provisions of Section 25-541 (Joint Facilities);

not further than the maximum distance from the zoning lot specified in Section 25-521; and

enclosed, except that such spaces may be unenclosed provided that the zoning lot on which such spaces are located does not contain a residential use.
