§ 179.05 Criminal diversion of medical cannabis; limitations.

The provisions of this article shall not apply to:

1.a practitioner authorized to issue a certification who acted in good faith in the lawful course of his or her profession; or

2.a registered organization as that term is defined in section thirty-four of the cannabis law who acted in good faith in the lawful course of the practice of pharmacy; or

3.a person who acted in good faith seeking treatment for a medical condition or assisting another person to obtain treatment for a medical condition.
