712.4 Sewage pumps and sewage ejectors.

PC § 712.4

A sewage pump or sewage ejector shall automatically discharge the contents of the pit to the building drainage system downstream of the house trap. Exceptions: Macerating toilet systems that comply with ASME A112.3.4/CSA B45.9 and installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Macerating toilet systems shall be permitted to discharge to a horizontal drain or stack in accordance with Section 712.3.5.
