FC § 903.5.4

A sign identifying the location of the sidewalk box housing the sprinkler system control valve shall be conspicuously posted on the exterior wall of the building directly opposite the sidewalk box. Such sign shall have red letters 1 inch (25 mm) in height on a white background and read: "Sprinkler System Shutoff Valve (indicate distance) Feet Opposite This Sign" or other approved design.
