FC § 6304.1.6

An approved supervised smoke detection system in accordance with the construction codes, including the Building Code shall be installed in liquid and solid oxidizer storage areas. Such smoke detection system shall be monitored by an approved central station. Exception: Detached storage buildings protected by a fire extinguishing system.
