609.5.1.1 Exhaust hoods.

FC § 609.5.1.1

Commercial cooking systems shall be equipped with a Type I hood suitable for commercial cooking appliances in accordance with Mechanical Code. Prefabricated hoods shall be of a type for which a certificate of approval has been issued in accordance with FC 112 and the rules. Exhaust hoods shall not be painted and scratch protection sheeting shall be removed.
