909.11.1 Equipment room.

BC § 909.11.1

The standby power source shall be located in a room separate from the normal power transformers and switch gears, and ventilated directly to and from the exterior. The room shall be enclosed with not less than 2-hour fire barriers constructed in accordance with Section 707, or with not less than 2-hour fire-resistance-rated horizontal assemblies constructed in accordance with Section 711, or both.
