BC § 907.2.2.2

Group B occupancies having a total gross area exceeding 100,000 square feet (9290.3 m 2 ) located in buildings where the highest occupied floor is 75 feet (22 860 mm) or less above the lowest level of Fire Department vehicle access shall be provided with automatic smoke detection connected to an automatic fire alarm system in accordance with Section 907.2.13.1 and an emergency voice/alarm communication system in accordance with Section 907.5.2.2 that initiates a total evacuation signal.
