BC § 907.2.10

A manual and automatic fire alarm system shall be installed in Group S occupancies where any one of the following conditions exists: 1. Group S fire area has an occupant load of 300 occupants or more; 2. The combined occupant load of all Group S fire areas on all floors, including mezzanines, is 300 or more.
