BC § 903.2.13

Automatic sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 13 shall be required throughout buildings utilizing Type IV construction with CLT or SCL as follows: 1. In all occupancies where the building is more than three stories above grade plane.

2.In Group B occupancies, where a floor exceeds 28,500 square feet (2647.7 m 2 ).
