6004.2.2.10.1 Alarms.

FC § 6004.2.2.10.1

The gas detection system shall initiate a local alarm and transmit a signal to a continuously attended control station on the premises whenever it detects the presence of the gas in the atmosphere. The alarm shall be both visual and audible and shall provide warning both inside and outside the area where gas is detected. Exception: Signal transmission to a continuously attended control station is not required where not more than one container of highly toxic or toxic gas is stored.
