5706.5.16 Securing cargo tanks and tank cars from movement.

FC § 5706.5.16

Cargo tanks and tank cars shall be secured from movement during loading and unloading operations by setting the cargo tank's or tank car's brakes and by chocking or blocking the wheels. At least two wheel chocks not less than 5 inches by 5 inches by 12 inches (127 mm by 127 mm by 305 mm) in size and dished to fit the contour of the tires shall be used for cargo tanks.
