5705.2.7 Portable container dispensing.

FC § 5705.2.7

When a portable container is used to dispense gasoline or other flammable or combustible liquids into portable fueled equipment or stationary fuel-burning equipment by means of pouring or other gravity dispensing, the individual capacity of the portable container shall not exceed 2 1/2 gallons (9.5 L), except as authorized by this code at construction sites.
