FC § 5704.2.13.2.2

Except as otherwise provided in FC 5704.2.13.2.1, aboveground tanks not used for a period of 30 calendar days or more shall be removed from the premises or sealed in place in compliance with the requirements of FC 5704.2.13.2.3, or safeguarded in compliance with the following requirements: 1. Tank and connecting piping shall be safeguarded in accordance with FC 5704.2.13.1.2.

2.The tank shall be protected from flotation in accordance with good engineering practice.
