5607.12 Drill holes.

FC § 5607.12

Holes drilled for the loading of explosive charges shall be of a diameter sufficient to insert explosives to the bottom of the borehole without forcing or ramming. The following drilling precautions shall be observed: 1. Only poles made of wood or plastic that have no metal parts shall be used for loading or tamping explosives.

2.Explosives shall be set in place or pressed in place by steady, even pressure with the tamping pole, avoiding forceful blows.
