What is NYC FC § 5506.2.1?

Quick Answer

This section mandates that any liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tank constructed before the code's effective date and unused for over two years must be recertified by city agencies as if it were a new tank. This applies to owners of such LNG storage tanks seeking to place them back in service.
