5505.1.2.3.1 Shutoff valves on cryogenic containers.

FC § 5505.1.2.3.1

Shutoff valves shall be provided on all cryogenic container connections except for pressure relief devices. Shutoff valves shall be readily accessible and located as close as practical to the cryogenic container. Manually-operated shutoff valves shall be designed and installed to minimize accidental opening and closing. Exception: Valves before pressure relief devices shall be installed in accordance with FC 5503.2.6.
