5309.2 Ventilation.

FC § 5309.2

Indoor storage and use areas and storage buildings shall be provided with mechanical exhaust ventilation or natural ventilation in accordance with FC 5004.3 or 5005.1.9. Mechanical exhaust ventilation shall be provided where required by FC 5005.2.1.1 or 5005.2.2.2. When mechanical ventilation is provided, the systems shall be operational during such time as the building or space is occupied.
