5301.1 Scope.

FC § 5301.1

This chapter shall govern the storage, handling and use of compressed gases in compressed gas containers and systems, including those gases regulated elsewhere in this code. Exceptions: 1. Compressed gases used as refrigerants in refrigerating systems in accordance with FC Chapter 6.

2.Compressed natural gas (CNG) stored and used on a motor vehicle for motive power in accordance with FC Chapter 23, NFPA 52 and the Fuel Gas Code.

3.Compressed gases connected for use in a fire extinguishing system.
