3603.3 Sources of ignition.

FC § 3603.3

Open flames and open-flame devices shall not be used within 3 feet (914 mm) of combustible material. Open flames, open-flame devices and other sources of ignition shall not be stored or used in the areas in which smoking is prohibited pursuant to FC 3603.3.1. Portable electric lights approved for use in a hazardous location shall be used where flammable vapors may be present, and shall be equipped with safety devices designed to prevent physical damage to the bulbs.
