2403.2.1.4 Areas subject to overspray deposits.
FC § 2403.2.1.4
Electrical equipment in flammable vapor areas located such that deposits of combustible residues could readily accumulate thereon shall be specifically approved for locations containing deposits of readily ignitable residue and explosive vapors in accordance with the Electrical Code. Exceptions: 1. Wiring in rigid conduit and threaded boxes or fittings not containing taps, splices or terminal connections.
2.Equipment complying with the requirements of FC 2404 and 2407 and FC Chapter 30.
