Electrical equipment in flammable vapor areas and drying operations which are subject to splashing or dripping of liquids shall be specifically approved for locations containing deposits of readily ignitable residue and explosive vapors. Exceptions: 1. Wiring in rigid conduit and threaded boxes or fittings not containing taps, splices or terminal connections.
2.Electrostatic equipment complying with the requirements of FC 2407.
