2310.5.7 Warning signs.

Warning signs shall be prominently displayed at the face of each pier, dock or wharf at such elevation as to be clearly visible from the decks of marine vessels and watercraft being fueled. Such signs shall have letters not less than 3 inches (76 mm) in height on a background of contrasting color bearing the following or approved equivalent wording: WARNINGNO SMOKING – STOP ENGINE WHILEFUELING, SHUT OFF ELECTRICITY.DO NOT START ENGINE UNTIL AFTERBELOW DECK SPACES ARE VENTILATED.
