415.11.1.4 Floors.

BC § 415.11.1.4

Except for surfacing, floors within fabrication areas shall be of noncombustible construction. Openings through floors of fabrication areas are permitted to be unprotected where the interconnected levels are used solely for mechanical equipment directly related to such fabrication areas (see also Section 415.11.1.5). Floors forming a part of an occupancy separation shall be liquid tight.
