405.8.2 Emergency power loads.

BC § 405.8.2

The following loads are classified as emergency power loads: 1. Emergency voice/alarm communications systems, including Fire Department in-building Auxiliary Radio Communication systems (ARCs) provided where required or installed voluntarily in accordance with Section 916; 2. Fire alarm systems; 3. Automatic fire detection systems; 4. Elevator car lighting; and 5. Means of egress and exit sign illumination as required by Chapter 10.
