402.4.1.1 Covered and open mall buildings.

BC § 402.4.1.1

Covered and open mall buildings shall be of Type I, II or IV construction. The height of covered mall buildings of Type IIB construction shall be limited to one story. The areas of covered mall buildings or open mall buildings shall not be limited provided that the covered mall building or open mall building and attached anchor buildings and parking garages are surrounded on all sides by a permanent open space in accordance with Section 402.1.2.
