BC § 3316.7.4

The operator of the hoisting equipment or material handling equipment shall park and secure the equipment at the end of the shift and as weather or site conditions otherwise warrant. The operator of the hoisting equipment or material handling equipment shall make the equipment inoperative before leaving the equipment.
