3316.7.3 Preventing unauthorized operation.

BC § 3316.7.3

It shall be unlawful to operate any hoisting equipment or material handling equipment that is not provided with a positive means for preventing the unauthorized operation of such equipment. The means whereby the equipment may be made inoperative shall be acceptable to the department.
