3314.4.3.1.1 Special provision for parapet clamps.

BC § 3314.4.3.1.1

Where parapet clamps are to be utilized, the qualified person who inspects the support surface/structure as required by Section 3314.4.3.1 shall be a registered design professional. The registered design professional shall confirm, based on the inspection and evaluation of the support surface/structure, that the support surface/structure is capable of supporting the loads to be imposed, including any eccentric load introduced by the parapet clamp.
