BC § 3308.5.1

The largest opening area for debris netting when used vertically shall not be larger than 1 square inch (645 mm 2 ), with no opening larger than 1 inch (25 mm) in the vertical or horizontal dimensions and 1 1/2 inch (38 mm) in any other dimension.
