BC § 2409.4.1

Glass in elevator car enclosures, glass elevator car doors and glass used for lining walls and ceilings of elevator cars shall be laminated glass conforming to Class A in accordance with ANSI Z97. 1 or Category II in accordance with CPSC 16 CFR Part 1201. See ASME A17.1, as modified by Appendix K of this code for additional requirements. (Am.
