1816.2.1 Peak ground acceleration.

BC § 1816.2.1

Peak ground acceleration shall be determined based on either (i) a site-specific study taking into account soil amplification effects as specified in Section 11.4.8 of ASCE 7 or (ii) the Maximum Considered Geometric Mean peak ground acceleration adjusted for site class effects PGA M as provided in Table 1816.2.1 without adjustment for targeted risk.
