1812.7.3.1.1 Minimum number of load tests.

BC § 1812.7.3.1.1

In each area of the foundation site within which the subsurface soil and rock conditions are "substantially similar" in character, as determined by the engineer, at least one load test shall be performed for the largest caisson pile diameter used on a site occupying a total area of 80,000 square feet (7432.2 m 2 ) or less. For sites greater than 80,000 square feet (7432.2 m 2 ), an additional load test shall be performed for every 80,000 square feet (7432.2 m 2 ) of added footprint area. (Am.
