BC § 1810.6.3

The load-bearing capacity of deep foundations discovered to have a sharp or sweeping bend shall be determined using an approved method of analysis by the engineer responsible for the deep foundation design in accordance with accepted engineering practice or by load testing a representative deep foundation.
