1803.2.1 Seismic Design Category C.

BC § 1803.2.1

For structures assigned to Seismic Design Category C in accordance with Section 1613, the geotechnical investigation shall include an evaluation of the following potential geologic and seismic hazards: 1. Slope instability.

2.Liquefaction. Peak ground accelerations for use in such analyses shall be determined in accordance with Section 1816.2.1.

3.Total and differential settlement.

4.Surface displacement due to faulting or seismically induced lateral spreading or lateral flow.
