1705.9 Helical pile foundations.

BC § 1705.9

Special inspections shall be performed continuously during installation of helical pile foundations. The information recorded shall include installation equipment used, pile dimensions, tip elevations, final depth, final installation torque and other pertinent installation data as required by the registered design professional of record. The approved geotechnical report and the construction documents prepared by the registered design professional and standards established by the commissioner pursuant to Section 28-113.2.2 of the Administrative Code shall be used to determine compliance. The special inspection agency shall submit to the department records of the inspection of the installation of helical piles on forms provided by the department.
