BC § 1705.16.3

The special inspector shall confirm the installation of the thermal barrier is in accordance with the approved construction documents, manufacturer's installation instructions, and NFPA 285 tested assembly design documentation. Exception: Foam plastic insulation installation on one-story buildings not required to have thermal barrier complying with Section 2603.4.1.4 of this code.
