1613.3.1 Mapped acceleration parameters.

BC § 1613.3.1

The mapped maximum considered earthquake spectral response acceleration at short periods (S s ) shall be 0.296 g and at 1-s period (S 1 ) shall be 0.061 g. The mapped long-period transition period (T L ) shall be 6.0 seconds. Alternatively, electronic values of mapped acceleration parameters S s and S 1 and other seismic design parameters provided at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) website at https://doi.org/10.5066/F7NK3C76 may be used as per the guidelines of ASCE 7, Section 11.4.
